Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course

Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course was the home of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf from 1994 – 2006.  The course has won numerous awards and has been consistently rated among the top golf courses in Hawaii and the U.S.

This outstanding course is backed by lush emerald mountains and sculpted from a rolling plateau eight stories above the Pacific Ocean. Nestled among the gentle contours of Poipu Bay you’ll discover the remains of Hawaiian heiau (places of worship) and ancient stone walls. If this weren't challenge enough, Mother Nature presents you with one distraction after another. This golf course is breathtaking but don't let your mind wander to the beautiful ocean views and beach vistas or this undulating golf course will eat you alive.

You might see rare Hawaiian monk seals and native nene geese and also green sea turtles and humpback whales, you’ll have lots of good excuses to back your scorecard. Even the most focused golfer will be challenged by the breathtaking views.

This links style layout designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. can play over 7,000 yards long. The ocean comes into play on holes 15-17, a beautiful venue for golfers of all abilities. A unique and unforgettable golf experience awaits you.

Kauai Lagoon’s Golf Club

Kauai Lagoons is a lush, 750-acre resort carefully secluded in the southwest corner of the island of Kauai in Hawaii. Fairways weave through mango and guava tree forests, along imposing ocean cliffs and over promontories high above the harbor, and among some forty acres of fresh water lagoons that wind their way throughout the resort.

It is said that when legendary golfer and architect Jack Nicklaus created the original Kiele Course in the late 1980's, the terrain lent itself so well to his vision that he made but a single change to his original design. In 2011, Jack Nicklaus was again called upon. This time to redesign the back nine of his famed Kiele course. Included are all new greens, new white silica sand bunkers, and three new holes. One is a new ocean hole that is now the centerpiece of what is the longest stretch of continuous ocean holes of any course in Hawaii. Four fabulous holes providing over 1/2 mile of unobstructed oceanfront golf.

Championship Tees: Par 72, 6,959 Yards, Rated 73.4, Slope Rated 132

Princeville Prince Resort Course

Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. who brilliantly integrated the wild beauty of the north shore of Kauai. Taking advantage of wilderness areas, natural water features and the dramatic coastline, the course wind their way through magnificent stands of trees and rolling landscape and always, views that will astonish you with their unforgettable beauty.

Even if you don’t play golf, it would be more than worth your while to rent some clubs and shoes and take a stab at and no doubt have the time of your life. But do bring a camera with you because you could use up an entire role of film, chip or video taking shots all over the amazing course.

It’s been said that even if it’s raining, golfers will still go out on the course and if they lose a ball, they don’t really care, because the experience of playing here is so fantastic and memorable, what’s a drop of rain or two or some lost balls?

Championship Tees: 18 Holes, Par 72, 7,309 Yards, Rated 75.6, Slope Rated 144

Princeville Makai Golf Course

The Makai Golf Course at Princeville re-opened in January 2010 after a multi-million renovation that reconfigured the greens from two 9 hole courses into one beautiful 18 hole course. Bunkers were reshaped with new ones added, two new large practice tees and a new expanded practice putting green were created and the grass on the tees was changed to Seashore Paspalum, a drought resistant grass that is so smooth it almost looks like a carpet, a very fine one at that. The Makai Golf Club has won many awards, including the Top 5 Great Golf Settings from National Geographic to Golf Digest’s 75 Best Golf Resorts.

The 7,223 yard par 72 Makai Course’s signature holes include the challenging Par 3 Hole 3, the tee is about 100 feet above a protected green below with a lake fronting the green. Other signature holes include 7, 13 and 18.  Scenic views of towering mountains, the sight of Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay and looking down at breaking surf below the cliffs will provide an overall experience you’ll never forget. The golf club has a newly built clubhouse with large lanai where the Makai Grill is located, serving breakfast and lunch from 7 am to 4 pm daily. All the golf carts have GPS and the award-winning golf shop features clubs, clothing items and more and to make it a perfect day of golf.

Championship Tees: 18 Holes, Par 72, 7,273 Yards, Rated 75.4, Slope Rated 134

Puakea Golf Course

Puakea, designed by golf course Architect Robin Nelson cleverly uses the local natural beauty to great effect, set at the base of the towering Mount Haupu, Puakea plays through deep ravines, crosses mountain fed streams, reveals views of the Pacific Ocean, and treats golfers to the stunning island beauty that is Kauai.

Robin Nelson said "Puakea may be the most fun course to play in Hawaii. The course rides up, down and around deep ravines. It has beautiful, pali views on about three-quarters of the course and ocean views for the rest. Each of the holes are distinctly different so you're constantly facing new, interesting challenges."

Puakea is 7000 yards of exhilarating golf. Using the beautiful island flora and fauna, giving a sense that Puakea is in complete harmony with nature, Nelson’s masterful design clearly conveys the routes golfers should take for textbook pars. However, the more daring golfer will be tempted to achieve glorious birdies and a truly rewarding round of golf.

Kihuna Golf Club

Robert Trent Jones Jr skillfully included many ancient remnants of an authentic Hawaiian village into his vision when designing Kiahuna Golf Course. At the newly renovated Kiahuna Golf Club, surrounded by the lush, natural beauty of Kauai, on sunny Poipu Beach, you will experience the course's beauty and a sense of the enduring history of the islands and Kauai.

Kiahuna Golf Club offers challenging resort golf within a fascinating area of ancient Polynesian archaeology  The course is structured around many ancient remnants of authentic Hawaiian culture. This challenging short course has narrow fairways, and you will encounter unusual obstacles such as lava walls and stone structures.

The Kiahuna Golf Club is a sanctuary for many of Kauai’s endangered species including the state bird of Hawaii…the Nene. The Black-Crowned Night Heron can be seen, fishing along the club’s numerous water hazards. Golfers may also spot the rare Hawaiian Stilt and the very shy Moorhen along Waikomo Stream.

Championship Tees: 18 Holes, Par 70, 6,925 Yards, Rated 73.5, Slope Rated 134
